ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (M/F/X): FULLTIME
Hotel Aragon enjoys a unique location in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bruges. All rooms, including family rooms in Aragon House, have been recently fully renovated with great attention to guest comfort. Responsibilities
- Leading the hotel team and ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel
- Reporting to the General Manager
- Monitoring compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining good relationships with guests
- Supervising the housekeeping department
- Overseeing orders and supplies
- Following up on group reservations
- Controlling incoming and outgoing invoicing and financial administration
- Recruiting, training, and developing staff
- Yield management
What competencies make you ideal for this job?
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management
- Customer-focused with a passion for hospitality
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a degree in Hotel Management is a plus
- Experience with modern digital hotel tools (Mews, Cubilis, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Hands-on mentality
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and French
- Flexible attitude with a guest-first approach
